How It Works
Be an active agent of change in your life.
Effective therapy starts with you, and the understanding that what you put in is what you will get out of it.
In fact, it is messy and unnerving at times and can leave you with a therapy hangover for the next few days. But it is also empowering and freeing, and a potential source of growth in yourself, your relationships, and your life.
A powerful catalyst to creating the life you want to live is believing that you can heal and change.
The therapy process helps you become centered.
Therapy is relational work. It is healing through connection: connection to yourself, to others, and to the world.
We start by connecting your mind and body for powerful healing of your whole self. Too often we jump to “fixing” our thoughts without considering our body, or we try to feel better in our body without working through our thoughts.
Lasting change comes when we work with both your body and mind together.
You and I will work together to find your center, the place where you feel relaxed and present. From your center, we begin to slowly build your resiliency by confronting the things that stick in the dark corners of your mind or hide behind your body as physical concerns.
We then seek reconnection and healing from disrupted or lost relationships in your life.
Finding the life you want to live.
Change comes when we can live our life from a healed, whole, and resilient center.
There is no right way to heal and grow, just as there is no one way to do therapy.
Let’s individualize the process for you and move you toward a life where you thrive.
